Question:

One time, you discussed over RJTV 29 about “Judgment Day”. You said that we are lucky if we reach another 15 years. You also mentioned about the 1,000 years. How is this related to what you have said that, we are fortunate if we reach another 15 years? Would that mean that Judgment Day is already near?

Answer:

No! It was because somebody asked if the coming of Christ would still take long. He was asking if it would be after 29 years. So, I told him, he is lucky if it would take another 15, or 10, or even 7 more years. But I never gave a definite answer. You see, when Christ comes, He would first get all the saints, but that does not mean that it’s already the end of this earth. There would still be 1,000 years that Christ will rule over mankind. This is the so-called millennial reign of Christ. But definitely, the coming of Christ is drawing near. When Christ comes, He will get His saints and they will rule the earth for a thousand years, and within that span of time, God will give man a chance to repent. By that time, pestilence, great tribulations, and gross wickedness would happen.

Question:

Therefore, the earth would not end yet?

Answer:

Not yet. Christ will still rule for 1,000 years.
