IS IT A SIN to disobey your parents?

Answer:

If you are disobeying your parents' will which is also in accordance with that of God's will, then you are committing a sin. But, if what your parents want is against the will of God, you are not committing any sin even if you disobey them. I know of a parent from the South. When his wife gave birth to a very beautiful daughter, they celebrated! I asked them, "Why is it a custom for you to celebrate if it is a baby girl?" They said that "When she grows up, we will make a strip teaser out of her." I was shocked to learn that some parents have an evil intention towards their child. If that will be the case, it is not a sin unto the child if ever she disobeys what her parents want for her.
