I CAN`T IMAGINE a journey of a thousand miles beginning with a thousand-mile step. When you say a single step, it is a very small beginning compared to the length of a journey that Lao Tzu is trying to tell or impress in this quotation.

Home Programs Are they Contradictory? I Kings 11:9 and John 1:18

No program of this kind has challenged the intelligent thinking man and skeptics who quickly dismiss the Bible as a source of truth, and claims that the Bible is inaccurate and self-contradictory.

But the seemingly contradictory verses that Bro. Willy Santiago posed will surely trickle down as to who is the rightful preacher and pastor gifted with the mastery of the Word of God in the Bible. Who will stand to answer the seemingly paradoxical verse? That is the challenge of this segment to everyone!

Are they Contradictory?

pleasant day to all! Once again, we will be examining verses of the Bible to find out if they contain contradictions.

The first verse that we shall study is I Kings 11:9, which says—

“And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice.”

This verse tells us that the God of Israel had been seen by King Solomon twice. But the New Testament has a different pronouncement, because John 1:18 says—

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

This time, we are being told that no man had ever seen God at any time. While I Kings 11:9 said that Solomon saw God twice, John 1:18 on the other hand, said that no man has ever seen God at any time.

Which between the two verses is correct? Do they contradict each other? Let us ask our teachers, our ministers, our pastors, the priests, and the evangelists. But if they could not give you any explanation, you better ask Brother Eli Soriano.
