I CAN`T IMAGINE a journey of a thousand miles beginning with a thousand-mile step. When you say a single step, it is a very small beginning compared to the length of a journey that Lao Tzu is trying to tell or impress in this quotation.

Home Programs Are they Contradictory? Colossians 3:1 and Acts 7:55

No program of this kind has challenged the intelligent thinking man and skeptics who quickly dismiss the Bible as a source of truth, and claims that the Bible is inaccurate and self-contradictory.

But the seemingly contradictory verses that Bro. Willy Santiago posed will surely trickle down as to who is the rightful preacher and pastor gifted with the mastery of the Word of God in the Bible. Who will stand to answer the seemingly paradoxical verse? That is the challenge of this segment to everyone!

Are they Contradictory?

e are going to examine the verses in the Bible to find out if they contain any contradictions.

The first verse that we shall study is Colossians 3:1, which says—

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Here, St. Paul is telling us that our Lord Jesus Christ is sitting on the right hand of God. On the other hand, Acts 7:55 says—

“But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.”

In this particular verse, St. Stephen is telling us that our Lord Jesus Christ is standing on the right hand of God. But remember that in Colossians 3:1, St. Paul said that our Lord Jesus Christ is sitting on the right hand of God.

Which of the verses that we cited is correct? Do they contradict each other? What could be the explanation to this? Is our Lord Jesus sitting, or standing, on the right hand of God? Let us ask our teachers, our pastors, our ministers, the priests and the evangelists. If they do not know the answer, ask Brother Eli Soriano.
